Our Journey

Although B & B Company is newly established, its roots run deep in the plumbing industry. Michael J. Fafara, owner and third-generation plumber, was introduced to the trade at a young age—tagging along on service calls with his father. His early passion grew into a lifelong career, starting as an apprentice in high school and advancing through college to earn both his Journeyman and Master Plumber licenses. For over a decade, Mike honed his skills at his family’s business, Fafara Plumbing & Heating Inc., based in Westwood, MA. With a desire to grow beyond the town and continue the family legacy, he and his wife Colleen founded B & B Company to bring trusted plumbing services to more communities across Massachusetts.

How did we get our Name?

B & B is named after the owners’ two dogs Bentley (Boxer) and Bam Bam (Shephard and Retriever Mix). Always growing up with dogs, Mike and Colleen know the unfortunate reality that man’s best friends aren’t around forever. They decided to name their company after the boys to let their legacies live on forever.
